About the Blog

All too often, topics in today’s world are approached through the prism of polarization. Whether discussing sports or politics, ShamWows or movies, people adhere to arguments because they are the talking points or dogma of the group they align with. Many people simply yell what they think over and over the repetition of empty phrases – hence Three Word Chant.

This blog mixes original writing and diligent internet scouring to bring you informative, hilarious and interesting news on all topics under the sun. Everything on here is based on two premises: there is a lot of cool stuff on the internet, and more of the debates in the world today should be based on conversations, not shouting.

I try to post regularly. Sometimes it happens every day, sometimes I vanish for a few months. Life is unpredictable. We also sometimes do roundtables with a crack team of contributors and panelists known as the Van Buren Boys.

I am currently working on a 101 in 1001 challenge. I am the kind of person that has to finish projects I start, no matter how asinine. The closer I get to the deadline, the more improbable and ridiculous the stories will be.
