When the Governator vetoes or neglects to sign a bill, he likes to send notes to Legislators indicating why. If he is mad at that legislator (I will give you a tum-ah!) he likes to make that known as well.
Tom Ammiano is a CA Assemblyman. Recently, when Ahnold was invited to speak at a political dinner, Ammiano heckled the Governor and told him to “kiss my gay ass.” Reports from the scene indicated that this was due to Ammiano upset about Proposition 8, as opposed to him making a proposition.
Nevertheless, Schwarzenegger recently neglected to sign one of Ammiano’s bills. In the letter he sent around, it’s worth noting the letters going down the left hand side, starting with the second paragraph:
When asked for comment, the Governor’s spokesman said:
“My goodness, what a coincidence that it would say something along the left-hand margin,” said the governor’s spokesman, Aaron McLear. “But I suppose when you do so many vetoes, something like this is bound to happen.”
What a ballsy and overwhelmingly professional response.
Unfortuantely, this F-bomb is not the most bizarre Arnold news today. That would be this.
