Let’s say you have an iPhone. Very likely, you frequently have it out in order to display your social standing and consumer power. However, if you are texting your friends while walking, and looking down at your phone, you are going to walk into things (specifically, 6 million people will walk into lamp posts a year).
Someone developed an iPhone app that turns the camera on while texting. Since the camera is pointed out of the back of the phone, by displaying its view, you essentially make the phone “see through.” (see picture to the left).
Although this is a good idea and somewhat funny, the idea that we need things like this probably means the end of society as we know it.
